DIRECTIONS
From EAST – Take HWY 26 to the junction at HWY 101. Head North on HWY 101 through Seaside, to the 1 and only stoplight in Gearhart. Turn Left at the light onto Pacific Way, heading west towards the Ocean. Go through downtown Gearhart, crossing Cottage Avenue. Turn right on Marion Avenue. Marion will lead you to our Clubhouse on the right hand side. There is parking on both the North and South sides of the Club House, with the North Lot being closer to the Pro Shop.
From WEST – You’ll need a bigger boat.

Our General Manager and Director of Golf Jason Bangild, PGA, could add another unofficial title to his moniker: Keeper of the Flame, or maybe Curator, as he enjoys the nostalgic approach taken with the personal service offered here at Gearhart Golf Links.
Your day at Gearhart Golf Links begins in a relaxed, traditional way. Between the Pro Shop, The Pot Bunker Bar and the first tee, all of your pre golf needs are within a matter of a few steps.
The Pro Shop is fully stocked with both hard and soft goods. You’ll find our prices very competitive, with specials posted periodically throughout the season. The convenience of gift cards, e-mail/phone ordering and special orders are all welcomed and encouraged.
The Pot Bunker Bar is right next door, where you can enjoy a handcrafted Ale by the fire while you wait for a member of our Golf Staff to call your foursome to the tee.

Jason grew up just north of Toronto, Canada, in the small town of Palgrave. A golf scholarship to the University of Charleston propelled his golf career, which is now in its 27th year. While at UC Jason was nominated to the Dean’s List, honored as an Academic All American, and finished as Medalist in the WVIAC South Regional Championship. In ’97 he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He was first a member of the Canadian PGA before joining the PGA of America in 2002. While honeymooning on Maui with his wife Melissa in 2000, they decided to stay, which they did for almost 12 years. A desire to return to the mainland and be closer to family brought Melissa, Jason and young son Tyler to Gearhart. Jason has experience at Public, Resort, and Private golf clubs. He began his career with 9 years at Devil’s Pulpit Golf Association in Caledon, Ontario, and has since worked at Kapalua Plantation Course, The Club at Hokulia, and most recently as Director of Golf at the exclusive Nanea Golf Club in Kona, Hawaii. During his 8 years at Nanea, Jason was awarded Merchandiser of the Year honors twice for the Aloha Section. Jason was recently awarded the Inaugural award for Club Executive of the Year for the Oregon Golf Association, and Merchandiser of the Year for the Oregon Chapter in 2016 and 2019. He also served on the OGAGC and OGAP Board of Directors.

Casey joined the GGL Team in September of 2020 as golf was booming across the country. Our rounds of golf were on a steep incline, and we needed the help! Casey brings to the table excellent customer service and the computer skills needed to fine-tune our GGL App and spearhead our tournament & scoring software. He is in the apprenticeship program of the PGA of America, working his way to becoming a Class “A” PGA Member. Originally from Oregon City, Casey grew up playing golf and basketball throughout high school and played on a top-25 nationally ranked team in 2008. After spending two years at Oregon State University, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Casey previously worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at the Wigwam Golf Club in Phoenix, AZ and The Club at Flying Horse in Colorado Springs. Outside of golf, Casey spends his time with his dog, Luna, and is an avid Portland Trail Blazers & Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Mark grew up in Northern Utah playing and working at the Logan Golf & Country Club. He won the Utah State Amateur Championship and played collegiately with a golf scholarship to Brigham Young University. Mark graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and entered the PGA for the first time as an Assistant Golf Professional for 5 years at Spanish Oaks Golf Course. Mark had a successful corporate finance and philanthropy career for the past 20 years but has always had a lifelong love of the game, history, and study of the golf swing, bringing which has brought him back to the PGA in 2020. He worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at Alpine Country Club for three years while resuming his PGA qualifying levels and completing his master’s degree in Communications where his emphasis has been on golf instruction in a technical age. Mark and his wife Karyn have a blended family of 5 adult kids, 3 of whom are married and 5 (and counting) grandkids. Karyn is from the Pacific Northwest and introduced Mark to the Oregon coast 6 years ago. Mark and Karyn are living their dream to return full-time where they enjoy hiking with their two dogs, Maggie and Tillamook (Tilly), and sharing this area with friends and family.
